Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
Archery.Services ("we", "us", "the platform") provides digital infrastructure for the global archery community. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data when you use our website, applications and services. We are committed to handling your information lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the principles of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparable frameworks worldwide.
We use personal data to: operate your account and the platform's features; run tournaments, rankings and certification; process orders and provide support; keep the service secure and prevent abuse; and, where you have opted in, send you relevant updates. We do not sell your personal data.
Depending on the activity, we rely on: contract (to provide the services you request), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for example, anti-doping and safeguarding requirements).
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to make the platform work and to remember your preferences.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out and reset your preferences. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
We share data only as needed to run the platform: with service providers (hosting, email and payments) bound by confidentiality; with federations, clubs and event organisers where you participate in their events; and where required by law. Publicly published results and rankings may be visible to other users by design.
We serve a worldwide community, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where data crosses borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. Competition results may be retained as part of the sporting record. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and regular review. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any material breach as required by law.
Archery is a sport enjoyed by young people. Where the platform is used by minors, an account must be created and managed by a parent, guardian or affiliated club acting on their behalf, and additional safeguarding protections apply.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
Questions or requests about your privacy can be sent to privacy@archery.services or through our contact page.
